Just barely alive.
We finally got Sharon a new car - its a Toyota Prius.
Sharon is thrilled to be out of the Saturn.

In other news, the water-soaked and dried out computer room
had a contractor in today to see what they can do to fix it.
Right now my computer chair is half on carpet and half on
the bare foundation, and I keep sliding backwards.

Madness Saturday

After the St. Patrick's party I got to Madness late, especially since they started at 4PM Saturday.
Games:
Pandemic x 2
Race for the Galaxy
Nottingham
Wins - none

The new craze, Pandemic, had finally show up, and I picked up my copy and played
my 2nd and 3rd games. In this the players are scientists trying to cure outbreaks
of disease before the whole world is dead. We lots twice. The first game was lost
from the start, as an Epidemic showed up immediately.
The second game we thought we were winning, until about one round from us curing the
final diseases there were a pair of diseases in South America. Each of them caused an
outbreak in the city (Lima and Sao Paulo) that cause outbreaks in neighboring cities.
This is an excellent game in the right group!

St. Pat's 2008

We had St. Pat's early, as it falls on Monday. Kathleen hosted a small number of us,
with Timothy in Utah, Alan in England, Roy ill, and Margaret not feeling well. But Sharon and I did
get to see Karen & Kathleen, Libby, and the Lord Mayor (Doug).
We had Kathleen's lovely Guinness stew, my shortbread, Sam Adam's Irish Red,
and Doug's Remedy.
